Handmade Decorative Wood Vases for Dried or Silk Flowers
Unique decorative handmade wood vases for silk or dried flowers come in many sizes, shapes and types of wood. Some of our dried / silk flower vases are cut narrow on the inside to hold flower stems together, other flower vases can be filled with marbles, sand or pebbles so that you can arrange the flowers as desired. Dried or silk flower vases can be used as a decorative focal piece or part of a larger decorative grouping. Dried flowers can go with any decor and give that rustic or natural look. Silk flowers can provide a decorative splash of fresh color which can be rotated and recycled as the seasons or your home decor changes. (See photos below)
Decorative Wood Vases for Fresh-Live Flowers
Many people prefer the look and wonderful smell of fresh, live flowers. Typically standing water and wood do not go well together. But we now have handmade wood fresh/live flower vases that contain a plastic water tube to effectively hold the stems in place and provide a spill proof water supply for the flower(s). As an alternative to a water tube, we have also made flower vases that can hold an open topped glass or plastic water container.

Wood is warm, with natural color and texture variations to compliment your home decor. Our decorative handmade multi-wood flower and decorative wood vases combine different types of wood so that their natural colors create unique and unusual patterns. Very precise gluing and turning is required to achieve the desired affect.
Types of Wood
Our standard woods are Oak, Ash, Maple, Cherry, Hickory and Walnut; though other types of wood are available. We turn our unique decorative and wood flower vases from solid stock or glued up board lumber. Solid stock wood vases are turned from a single branch or trunk and can produce surprising color and character.

We try to keep a variety of our handmade wood flower & decorative wood vases in stock, but each is unique - individually & personally hand-turned by us, in our Minneapolis Minnesota workshop. We try to replace sold vases with similar pieces - but can never exactly duplicate any of our handmade wood vases, nor do we want to – ‘handmade’ makes each unique.
